Peggy Ann Clark Kennedy - GLENNVILLE - Peggy Ann Clark Kennedy, 71, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Glenvue Nursing Home. The Wayne County native had lived in this area most of her life. She enjoyed her grandchildren, antique sales, a good joke and just cutting up with friends and family. She was a wonderful homemaker, a caretaker to all around her, and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrell Kennedy and son, Joey Kennedy. Survivors include: children, Kim and Harvey Hough of Stafford, VA, Melanie and Gary Dasher of Glennville, Rusty Kennedy of Glennville, Burke and Susan Kennedy of Glennville; sister, Sue Ratliff of Jesup; grandchildren, Mandy, Steven, Jason, Liz, Wesley, Haley and Jordan; several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, March 13, 2008 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kenendy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glennville City Cemetery.
