Pauline Jackson Moore, 95, passed away in Lawrenceville, Ga., on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday conducted by the Rev. Leon McCoy at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge. She was a native and lived most of her life in Gadsden. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Lee Moore; daughter, Julie Ann Goldfoot; and infant son, Robin Moore. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tyler (Jean) Moore, Lawrenceville, Ga., and David (Marsha) Moore, Franklin, Tenn. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving sibling of 11 brothers and sisters. She was a charter member and oldest surviving member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Gadsden. She was an active member of the church for most of her life where she taught Sunday School and was president of WMU for many years. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home followed by the memorial service.
