Pauline L. Carter Pauline L. Carter, 93, a homemaker, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, in Quincy. The service will be at 11 a.m. EST Saturday at Elliot Avenue Baptist Church in Springfield, Ill. Bevis Funeral Home in Tallahassee (385-2193) is handling arrangements. She was a native of Springfield, and moved to Tallahassee in 1972.She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Havana and was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by a son, William Carter of Tallahassee; five daughters, Virginia Coultas of Havana, Helen Day of Iowa City, Iowa; Nancy Davison of Springfield, Polly Scholl of Laguna Beach, Calif., and Barbara Harbold of Oconomowoc, Wis.; 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
