<br><br><br> -->Paula Wright Miller HENDERSONVILLE, NC-- Paula Wright Miller, 67, of Flat Rock, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Elizabeth House. A native of Henderson County she was the daughter of the late Robert and Pauline West Bishop and the wife of Charles P. Miller of Flat Rock. She was the owner and operator of Paula's Floral Design and a member of Upward Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Lee Hood. In addition to her husband, survivors include one son, Carl Dewey Hood, III; one daughter, Konda Hood Smith and her husband Clyde; three stepsons, William Larry Wright, Bill Miller and his wife Kathy, and Roderic Miller; three stepdaughters, Gwendolyn Davis and her husband Brian, Karol Wright, and Kathy Bryce and her husband Clyde; two sisters, Beverly E. Sterling and her husband Frank and Elaine R. Gwyn and her husband Jim; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with the Rev. Paul Chandler and Rev. Tom Burke officiating. The family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service in the chapel. Private interment will be held at a later date. Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
