PAUL S. HENRY ST. JOHN, IN Paul S. Henry, age 75 of St. John, IN passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Ingeborg Henry (nee Steinhaus); four children: Jana Lacera, Lori (Robert) Higgins, Paula (Richard) Cavanaugh and John Fosdick; two grandchildren: Sean (Shannon) O'Hara and Crystal (Jason) Provence; four great grandchildren: Caitlin, Chloe, Nolan and Gavin; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and brothers: John and Fred Ehlen. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Fagen- Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave. (US 41), St. John, IN. Interment at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville, IN. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Paul will be most remembered for his "Cream Puff", a fully restored 1946 Cadillac convertible. He was a member of the Cadillac & LaSalle Club. He won first place at Cadillac Grand National, along with numerous awards in local car shows. He was a two-time "300" game bowler. Paul was retired from Metz Construction Company with over 30 years of service. He was also a published author, "Ethan Allen and Allen & Wheelock: Their guns and their legacy." A graduate of East Gary Edison High School. He served in the U.S. Army 71st Transportation Battalion. Always willing to help others Paul's last gift was the gift of sight though cornea donation.
