HENDERSON, Paul Robin June 4,1948 May 20, 2005 Paul passed away May 20th, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Joan; parents June and Gordon Henderson of Kelowna, and his sisters, Tracey (Mike Fredrickson) of Kelowna, and Pam (John Morris) of Maui, Hawaii. Owner of the Minit-Tune Auto Centre in Victoria, Paul was perhaps best known for his exceptional love of golf. Some of the happiest years of his youth were spent caddying and playing the game at Gleneagles Golf Course in West Vancouver where he scored his first hole in one at age 13. When he met his wife Joan, he also fell in love with her home town, Victoria. Paul was a member of the Gorge Vale Golf Club and served as a Director. Paul was blessed with many long-time, loyal friends and this was especially apparent over the last few months when they came to visit him from throughout BC. He loved classic music from the 60s and 70s and classic cars restoring and driving them and would go out of his way to find a great deal for anyone who would let him. Also surviving Paul are his stepsons Mike and Blake; nieces Sydney and Meagan, and nephew Adam. As requested by Paul, there will be no service. He would be honoured, however, by donations in his memory to the Junior Development Program at the Gorge Vale Golf Club so that young golfers may experience the incredible joy he derived from the game. 89047
