Paul Richard Henderson, 71, of Mine Hill, N.J., passed away suddenly at home on Friday, April 8, 2011. Visitation is on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, N.J. (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Wharton, N.J. (973-366-0184) at 11 a.m., also on Wednesday. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dover, N.J. Paul was born in New York, N.Y. He grew up in East Orange, N.J., and graduated from Clifford J. Scott High School, East Orange, before moving to Parsippany, N.J. Paul resided his last 42 years in Mine Hill. He received his B.A. degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, N.J. He was a long-standing parishioner and an usher at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Wharton, N.J. He served in the U.S. Navy during peacetime. For many years he worked as a director of sales at Compliant Logistics, Gothenburg, Sweden. Previously, he coached boys and girls basketball for St. Mary's CYO and Canfield Avenue School. He is survived by his daughter, Laura Bradford of Carmel, Ind.; two grandchildren, Sean and Kaitlyn; three nieces, Christine McConnell, Colleen Schultz (also goddaughter), and Jennifer Kretzer. He was predeceased by his wife, Loretta M., in 1991. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to Sisters of Charity Haiti Fund, Box 476, Convent Station, N.J. 07961.
