Paul RMacDonald Brockton â€" Paul R. “Big Mac” MacDonald, age 65 years, of Brockton died unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the loving husband of Eleanor M. (Hogan) MacDonald. Born Wednesday, June 17, 1942, in Boston, he was a son of the late John and Ida (Chernicki) MacDonald. Paul had lived in Brockton for the past 41 years and had worked for Stop and Shop warehouse for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of the Teamster Union, Local 25. In addition to his wife Eleanor, he is survived by a son, John F. MacDonald of Brockton; a brother, John J. MacDonald of Stoughton; an aunt, Theresa Flynn of Whitman; an uncle, Joseph Chernicki of Quincy; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton.
