CHELMSFORD -- Paul R. "Red" Anderson, 82, of Chelmsford and a former Billerica resident who worked at an automobile dealership in Billerica, died yesterday, Dec. 18, at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. He was the husband of Geraldine H. (Daly) Anderson.He was born in Billerica, May 10, 1923, son of the late Edward O. and Amy A. (Anderson) Anderson. He graduated from Howe High School in Billerica in 1942.Mr. Anderson resided in Chelmsford for the past 60 years. Previously, he lived in Billerica.Before retiring, Mr. Anderson was employed in the service department at Iversen Ford in Billerica.Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Donald McNiff of Lowell; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Joseph Flanagan of Newburyport and Thelma and Forest Rogers of Beverly; and several nieces and nephews.He was also the brother of 1st Lt. Robert L. Anderson, Army, who was killed in action during World War II.
