TILTON ; Paul P. MacDonald, 86, died at New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton on Oct. 7, 2008.He was born in South Boston on March 15, 1922, son of David and Celia (Higgins) MacDonald and twin brother of John MacDonald, Brockton, Mass.He worked for the Post Office in Dedham, Mass. as a letter carrier for 31 years, retiring in 1982. Paul was an Army veteran of World War II with Company F 121st Infantry 8th Division serving in Rhineland, Germany, earning the American Campaign Medal, two Purple Hearts, World War II Victory Medal, EARE Campaign Medal with 2 Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal.He leaves behind a son, Scott P. MacDonald of Palm Coast, Fla.; and a grandson, Joshua A.
