HORSE CAVE -- Paul M. Davis, 83, of Cave City, KY, passed away Monday, June 7, 2004, at his home. He was a retired businessman, a member of Cave City Baptist Church and the Cave City Civitan Club and an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Geneva Poynter Davis; four children, Paula Jackson of Prospect, KY, Jennifer Davis-Young of Findlay, OH, and Amy Chapman and Charles Davis, both of Cave City; eight grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; one stepgranddaughter, one stepgreat-grandson; and two brothers, Carl Davis Sr. of Cave City and Otha Davis of Louisville. His funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2004, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home in Horse Cave, with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Cave City Baptist Church or T.J. Samson Hospital Home Care Program.
