PAUL JOHNMURPHY, 81 LAKELAND - Mr. Paul J. Murphy, 81, went to be with the Lord Thursday June 9, 2011 due to respiratory failure. He was born January 26, 1930 in Brockport, New York and moved to Lakeland, Florida after retiring with 42 years of service at Eastman Kodak. Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by his daughter Karen A. VanSlooten. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Louise Murphy of Lakeland, son and daughter-in-law Timothy P. and Karen Murphy of Brockport, NY, daughter Barbara L. Geitner of Plant City, FL. Also surviving are grandsons Timothy P. Murphy (Samantha) of Canandaigua, NY and Thomas C. Heinsbergen (Natalie) of Brockport, NY, granddaughters Trisha L. Jaiman (Efrain) of Commack, NY, Audrey L. Heinsbergen of Brockport, NY and Mikaela A. Geitner of PlantCity, FL. Additional survivors include great grandsons Timothy P. Murphy III of Canandaigua, NY, Jacob P. Murphy of Canandaigua, NY and great granddaughter Maya G. Heinsbergen of Brockport, NY. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 PM in the chapel of Lakeland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Polk County Humane Society.
