Memorial service for Paul Howard Hall, 71, Rio Grande, Edgewater, who died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006,at Florida Hospital-Ormond Memorial, Ormond Beach, will be 2 p.m. Friday at United Church of Christ, New Smyrna Beach. Interment will precede the service at 10 a.m. at Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery, Edgewater. Born in Lowell, Mass., Mr. Hall, a sales manager, came to the area in 1986 from Massachusetts. He was a member of United Church of Christ, New Smyrna Beach, past master and building chair of Masonic Lodge, North Redding, Mass., member of the advisory board of Rainbow Girls, volunteer at Bert Fish Medical Center, and summer chair of Hacienda Del Rio Massachusetts Club. He served in the Navy and Reserves during the 1950s and was a former funeral director for Morse Funeral Home in Lowell, Mass. Mr. Hall enjoyed gardening, going to the beach and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Janet; two daughters, Robin Valovich, and her husband, James, Bridgeport, Conn., and Ruthann Giarratani, Deltona; two stepsons, Timothy Stentiford, Richfield, Conn., and Barry Stentiford and his wife, Vitida, Rustin, La.; stepdaughter, Joan Stentiford, Washington, D.C.; and four grandchildren, Steven, Kurt, Brandon and Geoffrey. Donations may be made in Mr. Hall's memory to United Church of Christ Building Fund, 203 Washington St., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.
