DESROCHES, Paul George. Passed away suddenly at his residence in Vernon, B.C. on July 22, 1999 at the age of seventy-eight years. Mr. Desroches was born in Montreal, Quebec on January 23, 1921. He spent his life in Quebec and went to B.C. to be with his family eight years ago. He worked in sales during his life, and was active in the Diabetic Association in Quebec and B.C. He served overseas with the Canadian Armed Forces 1940 to 1945. He will be sadly missed by his wife Charlotte, his daughter Manon, son-in-law Corey, granddaughter Charlotte, four sisters, Marcelle, Gabrielle, Lise, Therese of Montreal and a brother Jean, (brothers Claude and Gilles - both deceased), three brothers-in-law, Alex, Romeo and Yvon, all of Montreal and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. Funeral service was held July 27, 1999 at the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home, Armstrong, B.C.
