He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry. Paul is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sharon; his son Gerald; two grandsons, Joshua and Joel; one great grandson, Brock; one sister Mary Nelson, and one brother Clois.Paul joined the Army at age 17 and served 4 years including service in the Korean War.Paul completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Southwest Missouri State University and was employed by Boeing Aircraft Company for 5 years working in the B52 airplane design department. Most of his life was spent at Blue Eye, Mo, where he built and owned the Dairy Land drive in andraised beef cattle with his son, Gerald. His delight was working on his farms with his grandsons and wife. Paul was a member of the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed attending services there until he moved to Springfield.Services will be held in the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Oak Grove, Arkansas with Pastor Curtis Bradley officiating.Time for the services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2013 under the direction of the Greenlawn funeral home of Branson, MO. Burial will follow in the Blue Eye cemetery.
