South Lyme - Paul Edward Starr, 91, of South Lyme, died Monday Feb. 24, 2014.Paul was born in Hazardville on Oct. 30, 1922, the son of Lenora and Wilfred Starr and was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Delphia) Starr.He lived in Hazardville for many years, then retired to Point ‘O Woods Beach. He was a World War II veteran and a builder in the Enfield, Somers area. He was a generous and caring person, always ready to give a helping hand where he could. He was a voluntary board member at Point ‘O Woods.Paul will be remembered at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 3, 2014, at a Mass held at Christ The King Church, Old Lyme.
