WALLINGFORD - Patrick J. Casey, 49, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at the Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford.Patrick was born in Meriden, Feb. 17, 1965, the youngest son of Michael F. Casey and Margaret O'Sullivan Casey, of Wallingford. Patrick was a 1983 graduate of Sheehan High School and a 1987 graduate of Providence College. He was employed as an accountant for the State of Connecticut Department of Revenue Service for 27 years.In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Michael F. Casey and his wife, Ellen, and their children, Timothy, Jack, Bridget and Michael Casey with whom Patrick resided, and Martin B. Casey, of Wallingford and his children, Abigail, Brendan and Aidan Casey; his aunts and uncles, Ann and Michael O'Sullivan, and Catherine Goodrich, all of Wallingford, and Lizzie Desmond and Julia O'Sullivan, both of Ireland; many cousins; and his lifelong friends, John Sicignano and Thomas Riccio.Patrick's family would like to thank the entire staff of the Acute Care Unit at Masonicare and the Hospice Team for the wonderful care they provided.His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Sunday, July 27, from 3 until 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 28, from The Wallingford Funeral Home at 9 a.m. when the funeral cortege will proceed to Our Lady of Fatima Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
