Patricia Clerk (nee Williams), of Hillside, N.J., peacefully passed away on Aug. 4, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Monumental Baptist Church, 121-127 Lafayette Ave., Jersey City, N.J. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Woody "Home For Services," 163 Oakwood Ave., Orange, N.J. Interment is in Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside. Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Clerk was a resident of Hillside. She was a member of Monumental Baptist Church. Before her retirement, she was a communications operator supervisor for NJ Bell Telephone. Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Ervin Jr.; devoted mother of Arthur; loving grandmother of Rhonda Clerk Jackson (Davion), Terence Clerk (Clarissa), Najee McGhee, and Darrell Bankston, and dear sister of Geraldine High. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
