RENSSELAER Patricia Tokuko Harada Hayes, died at home on Saturday morning, June 11, 2005 at the age of 74 with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Tomoyoshi Harada and Umeko Mimura Harada, born and raised in Hawaii. She and her family moved to the Capital Region in 1963 after living in California and Ohio. Pat and her late husband Bob (1998) retired to Phoenix, Ariz. in 1994 and built a life filled with good friends and new interests. She is survived by her children and their spouses and partners, Mark Hayes and William Keyes, Liam Hayes and Pamela Van Dyke, Maura Hayes-Chaffe and Peter Chaffe and Sean Hayes and Julia Kajtar-Hayes. She leaves behind two grandchildren, Liam Hayes and Dora Hayes as well as her brothers, Philip (Shige) Harada and Hugo (Taka) Harada, and her sisters, Judith Harada and Louise Harada Middleton. She was predeceased by her sister, Priscilla, and her brother, Earl. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, and many friends in many places. The family wishes to grieve in peace and there will be no calling hours or services. We thank all of our friends for their prayers and good wishes, and wish to extend special thanks to Reikki practitioners, Harry Denkers and Alice Mazur for their kind attentions.
