Patricia Stiening McDonald Patricia Stiening McDonald, 77, died Monday, March 31, 2008, in Dublin, Ga. A native of Nashville, Tenn., she moved to Tallahassee in 1965, where she lived until moving to Dublin, Ga., in 2006. During her tenure in Tallahassee, she was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, where she was active with the Young at Heart.She was also an avid member of the Tallahassee Stamp Club. She retired from the Florida Department of Agriculture. She is survived by two sons, Rev. Bruce McDonald Jr. (wife Becky) of London, England, and Dr. Jack McDonald (wife Debbie) of Morrison, Colo.; two daughters, Margaret Turner (husband Tom) of Dublin, Ga., and Barbara Martin (husband Marshall) of Tallahassee; 11 grandchildren, Bruce McDonald III, Amanda McDonald, Megan Wilson, Caitlin McDonald, Thomas Turner, John Turner, Russell Turner, Paul Martin, Nick Martin, David McDonald Jr. and Matthew Lowery; and three great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bruce McDonald Sr., and a son, David McDonald. Friends will be received by the family from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT Friday, April 4, at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home on Riggins Road (850-877-8191). Graveside services are to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at Roselawn Cemetery on Piedmont Drive in Tallahassee.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
