Patricia S. MacDonaldof Johnson CityPatricia S. MacDonald, 71, passed away at her daughter Susan's home in Chenango Bridge on Monday, August 7, 2006. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Robert, and a sister, Fran, and a son, Michael MacDonald in 1999. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Michael Murray, Syracuse, N.Y., Susan and Benjamin Fassett, Chenango Bridge, N.Y.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Jennifer MacDonald, Thorne Bay, Alaska, Dale and Diane MacDonald, Raleigh, N.C., Christopher MacDonald, Tavernia, Fla.; ten grandchildren, Kyle, Eric, Evan, Andrew, Matthew, Gianni, Faith, Jack, Leslie and Chelsea; three sisters, Sandra, Ruth and Jean; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Terri. Mrs. MacDonald was retired from the Crime Victims Assistance Center in Binghamton after 16 years of service and was a member of St. James Church, Johnson City. She was also an avid reader and especially enjoyed murder mysteries. She loved doing crossword puzzles and enjoyed retirement.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. James Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Your Home Public Library, 107 Main St., Johnson City, N.Y. 13790.
