GREENVILLE and DOVER-FOXCROFT - With great sadness and many happy memories we share with you that on the evening of May 17, 2010, our dear mother, wife, nana, sister, aunt and friend, Patricia R. Morin, laid down to rest, and then closed her eyes for eternal peace. She was born April 7, 1924, in St. Prosper, Quebec, moving to Greenville in 1941, and to Dover-Foxcroft in 2003. She was the daughter of Gaudias and Derina Rodrigue; and sister to Jeannine, Lorenzo, Armand, Alberta, Freda, Bernadette, Jean and Paul, all of whom predeceased her, thus leaving her only surviving sibling, Lawrence Roderick and his wife, Barbara. Also passing before her, and waiting for their reunion, cherished son, Lawrence Morin; and grandson, Scott William McIver. Those left to carry on the traditions and stories are her deeply devoted husband of 65 years, Adrian; her daughter, Linda McIver and husband, Frank; adored grandchildren, Melissa Robinson and very special son-in-law, Kevin, Katherine McIntyre, William McIver, Christine Morin Haulk and Celinda Morin Hartsfield. Included are her loving great-grandchildren, Meghan, Emma, Noelle, Autumn, Michael, MacKenzie, Libby, Ruby Rose and Noah; along with several nieces and nephews, who hold such great fondness for their Aunt Pat, and many stories to pass on. While her work within the community throughout the years was fulfilling, her family was most meaningful. She enjoyed gathering them together for laughter and meals, making sure each got that extra serving of love. She will be remembered for her exceptional spirit, kindness, friendship and humor. In the words of her granddaughter, "Nana was a lot of fun!" She was the greatest gift to us all. A Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville. After the Mass committal services and burial for Patricia and her son will be conducted at Greenville Cemetery, Greenville. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft.
