Patricia Elaine West Owens, 63, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2008, at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, N.C.Born in Hendersonville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late James T. and Mozella Price West. Mrs. Owens was a homemaker and a member of Forestville Baptist Church.Surviving are a daughter, Mary Owens Coker and husband Aaron; son, Michael Owens and wife Diane; two sisters, Bonnie Harris and Phyllis Sloan; two brothers, Jimmy Ray West and Timothy Edens; seven grandchildren, Leslie, Robert, Sabrina, Austin, Isaiah and Jayden Coker and Ashley Bacnik along with numerous nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her husband, Tony Allen Owens; and a grandson, Wyatt Mason Coker.Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Forestville Baptist Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 3 p.m. at Forestville Baptist Church.Memorials may be made to Forestville Baptist Church, Children's Building Fund, 2 Old McElhaney Rd., Greenville, SC 29617.The family will be at their respective homes.Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.thehowzemortuary.com.The Howze Mortuary, Travelers Rest, is in charge of arrangements.
