GUTHRIE, Patricia Munro(nee Gartside)Passed away peacefully on Sunday after a lengthy illness. Born in New Westminster, and obtained her RN from VGH. She married Don in 1955; was mother to Nancy, John (Kathy), Judi (Charlie); predeceased by son Dan in 1987. Pat loved her grandchildren Kayla, Kevin, Read, Liz and Sarah. They lived in Toronto from 1963 until 1989 when they moved to Whistler, building their dream home and spending many happy years skiing, hiking and playing bridge. Pat was an inveterate hiker, completing the Appalachian Trail and much of the Pacific Crest Trail. Friends Ray and Ann Frost are hosting a remembrance 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at their home, 4332 Erwin Drive. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Trans Canada Trail, or a charity of your choice.
