Patricia Miller, conjointe de Michel Saucier, fille de Everett et Sally, est décédée le 24 février 2009.
OBITUARY PATRICIA (PAT) SAUCIER (nee MILLER) 1935-2009 Peacefully on Tuesday morning, February 24, surrounded by family and friends after a short illness. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Michel Saucier, whom she still carried the flame for. Predeceased by her parents Everett Miller and Sally Miller (nee White). Survived by her two younger brothers, Douglas Miller (Jill) of Tucson AZ and Terry Miller of Tsawwassen, B.C. Also survived by her children, "The Three Articles": David (Heather), Pam (Aman) and Brian. Especially missed by her six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The grand Matriarch of the family, the calm in every storm and crisis. Lover of gossip (but never the creator). Deadly accurate with a wooden spoon in close quarters, although holstered now for many years. Proud founding member of "The Fox Street Nuts", multi-decade camper at Lone Pine Campground in Mallets Bay, Vermont. Great experimental cook. World Class coupon clipper (stores gave her money after she got to the cash! True story). Always carried dog biscuits (even if the dog wasn't having a good day). Lakeshore Hospital Volunteer after the passing of her Husband. Positive influence her entire life; never complained or wanted people to worry about her; this belief she held right to the end. Never a burden, always eased other people's burdens. Proud 25-year employee of TC Electronics (& subsidiaries) and more than just an employee to her great friends Gerry and Steffen Hopf. To be dearly missed by Judy Watt and family. Gerry and Judy are Pat's honorary sisters and will always be considered family. Every single employee our family came into contact with at the Lakeshore General Hospital were outstanding - compassionate and professional. They have extremely tough jobs, but had gathered the correct doctors and support staff. Special thanks to; Marlene (al la Dietrich), Eleanor and Malcolm whose actions and words brought happiness to my mother and our family. Instead of flowers, we strongly encourage donations to the Hemodialysis Department of the Lakeshore as per her wishes. Pat Saucier was a direct, straightforward person, did not create problems but solved them and firmly believed that everybody has the right to determine their own path and should be assisted and not judged. She will now be enjoying a smoke, a drink and a fine meal with her husband Mike. She never stopped smiling in life, now she is simply radiant as she joins her husband again. A remembrance of Pat Saucier will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Yves Legare Alfred Daillaire, 14370 Pierrefonds Blvd, Pierrefonds Qc. www.adyl.com 514-595-1500 A glass of cheer will be raised shortly afterwards at the Brasserie La Residence, 4705 Boul. St. Johns, Pierrefonds, Qc, for those who are able to attend. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 2/26/2009
