Patricia M. J. Morin Thendara, NY Patricia Mary June McIntyre Morin, wife of the late Robert P. Morin, daughter of Daniel and Minnie DeGrace McIntyre, died Friday April 30, 2010, in Rome, NY. Born March 16, 1930, in the family homestead in Thendara, NY, she was proud to call Thendara her home. Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother and a proud member of the Upper Thendara Mothers Club. She worked at home supporting her husbands business and eventually became a bookkeeper for the Rivet Agency. Pat was a master knitter, crotchetier and tatter. Her family and friends enjoy the fruits of her labors. She was a faithful member of St. Bartholomews Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, of 28 years in 1977. She had three brothers, Lawrence (Rita), Lloyd (Rita) and Raymond (Gloria); and three sisters Alda (Maurice Gionet), Evelyn (Gene Reider) and Loretta (James Cervo). Her survivors are her children, David and Margaret Morin, Suzanne and Michael Armstrong and Paul and Sarah Morin; her grandchildren, Randall and Baylee Morin, Robert, Rebecca (Jon Pallone), Mathew, MacKenzie, and Payton Armstrong and Patrick and Christopher Morin. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, May 8, from 9:0010:00 AM at St. Bartholomews Church, Old Forge. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Please consider donations to HASCA or the Old Forge Fire Department in lieu of flowers.
