Patricia "Pat" Smith, 79, a former resident of Okaloosa County from 1967 to 2004, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011.Pat was predeceased by her husband, U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. (Ret.) Joe E. Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Burrell and husband, Scott, of Baker, Fla., and Cheryl Jones and husband, Greg, of Roswell, Ga.; and grandchildren, Evan Jones and Allison Jones.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at McLaughlin Funeral Home, 17 Chestnut Ave. S.E., Fort Walton Beach, Fla., with visitation starting Wednesday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow the services at Beal Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, Crestview Park Medical Complex, 370 West Redstone Drive, Crestview, FL 32536.Expressions of sympathy may be viewed or submitted on line at www.mclaughlinmortuary.com
