PATRICIA JONES MELBOURNE Patricia E. Jones, 59, of Mel bourne, FL, formerly of Lexing ton MA died Wednesday, August 8, 2007, after a coura geous battle with colon cancer. She is survived by her daugh ters, Christen L. Jones of Mel bourne, Jennifer N. (John) Almasi of Lafayette, LA; and the light of her life, grandson, Matthew T. Jones, also of Mel bourne. Also surviving is her mother, Pearl Rodgers of Lex ington, MA; brothers, Thomas Rodgers of Nashua, NH, Robert Rodgers of Hyannis, MA; and a sister, Shirley Gentile of Water town, MA. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Rodgers. Pat will be sorely missed by all who knew her, her smile and warmth will forever grace the lives of those she has touched from the children and teachers at her school to her life-long friend, Judith Graham of Melbourne. A Memorial Service will be held at the All-Faith Chapel on the southernmost end of the Florida Institute of Technology campus in Melbourne, on Satur day, August 11th, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to the Patricia Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Palm Bay Academy Charter School, 1465 Baytree Drive, Palm Bay, FL 32905.
