JOHNSON, Patricia L., 70, of Dade City, Fla., died February 20, 2007. Born April 5, 1936 in Dade City, she was a teacher for 33 years. She was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. There she served as super-intendent of Sunday School, member of the Sanctuary Choir, the Senior Missionary Ministry, deaconess, and director of Vacation Bible School and was a founding member and chairperson of the Moore Academy and Mickens High School Alumni Association. She is survived by children, Curtis "Rusty" Cannon Jr., Gregory M. Cannon, Marvin "Chubby" Johnson, Cisco L. Johnson Sr., LaFran D. Cannon-Reddin, Cheryl Renee Cannon (Pineapple), Marva L. Johnson, Lucy M. Reddick (Wilmon Jr.), and Leola Johnson; brothers, John M. Johnson (Sallie), Stephen B. Johnson and Gary O. Preston, Sr. (Maxine); sisters, Annette Booker (Joseph), Delsia Smith, Melanie Mack and Tanya Johnson and a host of others. The remains will repose 6-8 p.m., March 9, 2007, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 14518 7th St., Dade City. Homegoing services will be conducted 11 a.m., March 10, 2007, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Nathaniel Sims, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Dade City Cemetery.
