Bennett, Patricia E. LATHAM Patricia E. Collins Bennett, 67, of Latham, died peacefully on Thursday, July 1, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Richard R. Bennett. Born and educated in Troy, Pat was the daughter of the late Edward and Lillian Iveson Collins Sr. She had been a resident of Latham for the past 28 years. Pat worked as a nurses aid at the Albany County Nursing Home in Colonie and was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. Survivors in addition to her husband Richard include her devoted children, Wayne (Kathy) Bennett of Burlington Flats, N.Y., Lisa (Michael) Tallman of Watervliet, Robert (Kelly) Bennett of Fla. and Bryant (Scott Folmsbee) Bennett of Rensselaer; her sisters, Sandy Valenti, Lillian Germain; her brother, Edward Collins; her cherished grandchildren, Austin Bennett, Jessica Corey, Karissa Tallman, Thomas, Timothy and Adam Bennett and her great-grandson, Derek Corey. She is also survived by her cherished companion, Star. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 6 at the Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet with Reverend Gordon Rakow officiating. Family and friends are invited and may call from 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
