Patricia D. BrownPatricia DeVaney Brown, 75, of Florence, passed away Dec. 4, 2013. She attended Central Baptist Church and was a graduate of the Alabama School for Deaf and Blind. Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, from 1-2 p.m. at Greeneview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Jim Warren and the Rev. Kenny Windsor. Burial will follow in Duncan Cemetery. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Jack Brown; parents, Robert and Mary Aileen Rhodes DeVaney; and brother, Bobby DeVaney. She is survived by her son, David Brown and wife, Kristi; brother, Johnny DeVaney and wife, Terry; grandchildren, Jade, Jonathan, and Jasmine Brown, all of Florence; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dale Franks, Kyle Clemmons, Pat Eck, Randy Brown, Ted McWilliams, and Jerry Edmonson. Special thanks to Dr. Morris, Dr. Hobbs, and the staff of Hospice of North Alabama.
