PATRICIA ANN THORP CLARK1949 - 2012Patricia Ann Thorp Clark, 62, of Pensacola, went to be with her Lord, Friday, June 22, 2012.Patricia was born July 15, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri and had been a resident of Pensacola for thirty three years. She worked for the State of Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. Patricia enjoyed volunteering at several organization including; Guardian Ad Litem, Loaves and Fishes, and the Ronald McDonald House. She also worked with the Lakeview Lodges as the recreational director. In 1999, Patricia received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Serivces from Troy State University. She was a member of Olive Baptist Church for twenty-five years. Patricia was fully devoted to her family and loved to cook, making the best cheesecake this side of New York.Survivors include her sons, Frankie Clark, Jr. and wife Holley of Huntsville, AL and Wilton Clark and wife, Hilary of Maumee, OH; daughter, Kristi Van Zandt and husband Mike of Pensacola; brother, James Thorp of Jackson Gap, AL; sister, Mary Ann Crawford of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Brittany, Kaitlin, Jody, Jamie, Ben, Jenny, Madelyn and Ava Patricia; and one great grandchild, Alia.Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Reverend Robert Lloyd officiating.Entombment will be held at Bayview Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.Should friends so desire memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504 in memory of Patricia.BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Highway is entrusted with arrangements.Condolences may be offered at www.bayviewfisher-pouchapel.com.Express your condolences in our guestbook at pnj.com/obits
