McBAIN-ROBERTS, Patricia - At age 53, with courage, grace and dignity, passed away peacefully with family surrounding her at home on January 27, 2005 to be reborn to another dimension. Beloved spouse of 15 years, Bruce Rodie Roberts, loving mother to sons, Christopher McBain and Jordan McBain, and loving stepmother to Lara Roberts. Pat is also survived by her much loved mother, Onetta Clark and brother John, both of Sault Ste. Marie, and sister Bonnie of Smith Falls. She was predeceased by her daughter Robin and her father Reginald Clark. Her faithful and all knowing dog Woody was also at her bedside. Pat wanted to acknowledged all her kind and loving friends and relatives who have lent their support. Pat has left a legacy with her book "Chemo This!" to continue to assist others far and wide, as well as with her newly found skill in watercolour. "I am not gone I'll be in the wind The stars, the sunshine And on butterfly wings" The family extends great thanks to the Nurses of the V.O.N.; the Red Cross Home Support Workers; Family doctor, Dr. R. Trenker; the Oncology professionals at the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre and the Nurses of North Bay General Hospital. Visitation to be held at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, on Sunday, January 30, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2005 at St. Andrews United Church on Cassells Street at 11 a.m. As Pat requested, private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the V.O.N. North Bay Region, or the North Bay Home Support Worker Program of the Red Cross.
