JOHNSON, Patricia C. "Pat" Passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2008. She is survived by her son, David A. Johnson; daughter, Deborah E. Colton; daughter-in-law, Meg R. Johnson and granddaughters, Caroline E. Johnson and Clara L. Johnson. Pat graduated from Washington & Lee High School in Arlington, VA. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a degree in Sociology. She earned her Masters degree in Religious Education from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. She was a Girl Scout, a Social Worker, a Minister of Education and a Teacher. Her proudest accomplishment was raising her children. She was an active Baptist at First Baptist, Mooresville, NC, Judson Baptist, Hickory Hollow Baptist and Bellevue Baptist churches. She had a beautiful voice, enjoyed singing in the choir, and served as a church librarian. She was an avid gardener, loved cooking, and was the queen of correspondence. She sent hundreds of birthday and holiday cards every year. Her greatest love was socializing with her family, friends and neighbors. She had hundreds of friends. We will miss her immensely and draw comfort from knowing she is with her savior. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, September 6th at 10 a.m., at the Bellevue Baptist Church, 7400 Highway 70S, Nashville, TN 37221 with Dr. Mike Shelton officiating.
