WILLIAMS Patricia Anne Williams (Patti), loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, friend and wife passed away on September 23, 2012. She was born on December 11, 1933, to Andy Z. and Marguerite Pettitt in King County, Washington. Patti had 9 siblings: Don, Richard, Roger, Bill, Bob, Barbara, Lon, George and Janet. Patti married William M. Williams (Bill) on July 6, 1951. Patti and Bill were married for 57 years before his death in February 2008. While they lived in many locations throughout their life, her chosen home was always the Beaches area. Patti is remembered by her children Gail Tate (Michael), Andi Clemons, Greg Williams (Janet), Ben Williams (Lori) and Sam Williams (Pam) and their children and grandchildren. Her family and dearest friends held her hand and gave their love and support throughout her long illness, and placed her in God's loving hands on Sunday. Visitation will be held at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home in Jacksonville Beach on Wednesday, September 26th from 5-7pm with a vigil service at 5:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 27th at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Ponte Vedra. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF N FL Chapter, 9700 Philips Hwy, # 106, Jacksonville, FL 32256), or St. Jude s Children s Hospital.
