Patricia Anne (Oczkowski) SmithDevoted Wife and Mother Patricia Anne (Oczkowski) Smith was born on March 9, 1955 in Lowell, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Oczkowski. She went home to be with the Lord on December 6th, 2012. Patti had a full life living for Jesus and spreading the gospel. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Portsmouth, NH and enjoyed hearing Pastor Gum preach.Patti had a passion for writing, painting, and staying physically active. She worked hard at everything she did including modeling on the West Coast, an Administrative employee for the Court Recess Program of the Lowell District Court, Lowell, MA. She also worked for Rockwell International on NASA's Space shuttle program and later as a realtor in the NH Seacoast area. Patti earned her Bachelors of Science in IT from Southern New Hampshire University and was working on her MS.She is survived by her loving husband Michael Smith, daughter Christian Anne Johnson, son Joseph LaChance, grandson Noah Johnson; two sisters, Mary-Jo Beek and her husband Robert, of Pepperell, MA and Kathleen Lemoine and her husband Robert, of Orange, MA; an uncle, Merle Pederson, of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.SMITH -- A Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 472 Ocean Rd, Portsmouth, NH December 15 at noon.
