Alley-Link, Patricia AnneJune 8, 1935 - Oct. 31, 2010Patricia Anne Alley-Link, 75, of Sarasota, died Oct. 31, 2010.There will be no services. National Cremation & Burial Society is handling the arrangements. Pattie was born in Kathryn, W. Va., and moved to Tampa in 1957 with her husband, Bill. They later retired to Sarasota in 1994. She and Bill loved living in Sarasota. Her favorite activities included bike riding, traveling, sailing, and walking the beach picking seashells. To quote Pattie, "Seashells remind us that every living life leaves something beautiful behind."Throughout her life, Pattie was also devoted to helping others, and she was committed to giving what she could to charity, especially Habitat for Humanity projects. She also worked on the ReHabitat projects through her church, Church of the Palms Presbyterian Church.During her illness, Pattie maintained her strength and dignity, setting a courageous example for those around her. She believed in fighting the good fight, and at the end of the course of her life, hoping she will have made a difference.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William T. "Bill" Link in 2003.Pattie is survived by her brother, James (Sara), and her sisters-in-law, Janet and Pat Alley.
