STRODE, Patricia Ann (Pat) - (Retired Graduate Studies and Research Officer - Trent University) - peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Center on Tuesday November 3rd, 2009 in her 71st year. Beloved and treasured wife of Albert (Al); Cherished mother of Michael Pratt; Karen Brown Pratt and Heather Pratt (David). Special Grandmother of Cory Brown; Robert (Bobby) Pratt and Kassy Lynn Pratt-Schwang. Born in Halifax, N.S., she was pre-deceased by her parents Edward and Eleanor McDonald. Survived by her sisters Jean (Birch) of Fredericton N.B and Doris (Caunt) of Chester N.S. Will be sadly missed by her nieces Linda (Logan- Bradley) and Nancy (Logan) and many cousins; brother-in laws; sister-in-laws and extended family members. Her friendship and kindness will always be remembered by her many friends at Trent University; her many local charity organizations and especially those in the Peterborough music community. A private family funeral will be held. A Celebration of Pat's remarkable life will be held for her friends and family on Sunday November 15th, 2009 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at 428 Wing; Airforce Association of Canada. 274 King Street, Peterborough, Ontario. The family wishes to thank all those who brought love and comfort to Pat and to the Palliative Care Unit of the P.R.H.C.
