Melvin Guyton will be officiating.Gadsden Memorial Funeral Home directing.She leaves to celebrate and cherish her memories three loving and devoted daughters, Tenecha (Gabriel) Kennon, Brandi Brooks and Jasmine Brooks, Gadsden; three granddaughters, Amiya Kennon, Zykiria Brooks and Zaniyah Brooks, Gadsden; self-adopted daughters, Keisha Byers, Tiffany White and Crystal Norris, Gadsden; special friend, Porter Brooks, Gadsden; father-in-law, Mr. William Craig, Gadsden; mother-in-law, Mrs. Maryland Craig, Gadsden; three brothers, Robert Higgins, Henry (Everneza) Higgins and James Higgins, Gadsden; seven sisters, Olabell Foster and Barbara (Floyd) Erkins, Pontiac, Mich., Annie Ruth Hughes, Detroit, Mich., Mattie Major, Leesburg, Catherine (Melvin) Turner, Eastpoint, Ga., Dorothy (Johnny Ray) Porter, Gadsden, and Tiffany Higgins, Tuscaloosa; sisters-in-law, Amanda (Fredrick) Tuck, Sandra Craig and Marilyn Brooks, Gadsden; brothers-in-law, John (Betty) Brooks, Jerry (Jana) Brooks and Frankie (Angela) Craig, Gadsden; aunts, Fannie Curry, Los Angeles, Calif., Elizabeth Higgins, Gadsden, and Annie (Samuel) McGhee, Talladega; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.The body will lie in repose at the church one hour before funeral services begin.
