ANDERSON, Patricia ''Pat'' Age 74, of Bradford, NY died Monday, January 12, 2009, at Robert-Packer Hospital, in Sayre, PA. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, January 15, at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Lucinda O´Leary officiating. A reception will follow at the Tyrone Fire Hall. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee, at the convenience of the family in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to the Tyrone Volunteer Fire Dept., Tyrone, NY 14887. "Pat" was born Frances Patricia Mitchell on January 31, 1934 in Peekskill, NY, the daughter of the late Samuel and Florence Ellen Boyle Mitchell. On February 19, 1955 in Montrose, NY, she married Eric Carl Anderson. They have lived locally since 1974, previously in Wappingers Falls, NY. A loving wife and mother, she enjoyed crafts, quilting, and sewing, bird watching, music and playing the organ. She is loved and will be missed by her husband of 53 years, E. Carl Anderson, Sr. at home; a daughter, Jane M. (J.R.) Pearson of Unalaska, Alaska; a son, Eric C. (Julie) Anderson, Jr. of Bradford; two grandchildren, Jeremy W. (Shannon) Pearson, and Christi L. Pearson, both of Oklahoma; a sister, Delores (Bernard) Bleakley of Andes, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
