Patricia A. Miller CANANDAIGUA - Patricia A. Miller, age 79, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She is survived by her son, Steve (Lee) Eick of Canandaigua; daughter, Susan A. Decamp (Sam Robinson) of Oakfield, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Shawn (Chris) Stevens and Nathan Eick; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Tyler Stevens. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Miller. Mrs. Miller was born in Batavia, N.Y., and was the daughter of Cater and Mary (Burns) Gartley. She worked for a number of years at St. Jerome Hospital in Batavia and later worked for many years as a nursing assistant at F.F. Thompson Hospital. After her retirement, Mrs. Miller began a childcare service. She enjoyed gardening and especially the outdoors. In her younger years, she enjoyed deer hunting. There will be no calling hours. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, November 12, at 1 p.m. Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Interment will be in Boughton Hill Cemetery, Victor.
