Patricia Ann Hughes, age 66, of Florence, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Florence City Cemetery, with Brother Charles Maples officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers.Mrs. Hughes was a member of Weeden Heights Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Stewart; brother, Jesse G. Stewart; sister, Martha Stewart.Survivors include mother, Altrue Stewart; sons, Daniel Griffin and wife, Peggy, Chris Griffin and wife, Lise, Mike Griffin and wife, Melissa; sisters, Jewell Gooch and husband, Norman, Jan Perry and husband, John, all of Florence; nine grandchildren.The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to employees of Hospice of Tennessee Valley.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence, is directing.
