Patricia A. Davis, 61, of Landing, N.J., passed away Monday, Dec. 2, ,at Saint Clare's Hospital, Denville, N.J., following a long illness. There will be a memorial service at the First Memorial Presbyterian Church, Dover, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013. Patricia was born and raised in Dover, N.J., and has been a resident of Landing since 1980. She was a member of the First Memorial Presbyterian Church in Dover. Patricia received her associate's degree from County College of Morris. She also loved to cook. Patricia was a dental receptionist for Dr. McElroy in Dover. She retired in 2013 after more than 20 years. Surviving are Joseph, her husband of 36 years; three children, Meredith (nee Davis) Lindsay and her husband, Christopher, of Denver, Colo., Patrick Davis and his wife, Sonya, of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and Amanda Davis of Gettysburg, Pa. She is also survived by one grandson on the way. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Ann Marie Mathews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the First Memorial Presbyterian Church, 51 West Blackwell St., Dover, N.J. 07801.
