Pancy Williams Jones Pancy Williams Jones, 83, died Sunday, June 25, 2006. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at Centenary AME Church, with burial at Floyd Chapel. Strong & Jones Funeral Home (850-224-2139) is handling arrangements. Born Sept. 6, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Doshen Williams.She was the 16th child of 18 children. She attended public schools in Leon County. Pancy was converted at age 13 and joined Centenary AME Church, where she was a member for 70 years. She was a missionary and served on the Stewardess board, Sons and Daughters of Joshua and Floyd Chapel Pallbearer Union 10. She was joined in holy matrimony to Preston Jones Sr. on Feb. 14, 1943.To this union 11 children were born. She leaves to cherish her precious moments two sons, Preston Jones Jr. (and Lynn) of Winter Haven and Edmond Jones of Miami; a daughter-in-law, Lizzett Jones (and Roy) of Fort Myers; seven daughters, Olivia Hatcher (and George Sr.) of Havana, Pansy Jones of Tallahassee, Betty Jones of Pensacola, Eva Walker (and Lonnie), Mary Moore (and Willie), Julia Jones and Annie Powell (and Lewis Sr.), all of Tallahassee; a stepson, Albert Jones of Tallahassee; a sister, Hesterine Floyd of Tallahassee; a brother-in-law, Albert Jones of Bartow; two sisters-in-law, Marie Jones and Olivia Jones, both of Tallahassee; 27 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Jones Sr., and two sons, Drake Stanley and Roy Jones Jr. The Lord called her to her heavenly home.
