CARTER, Mrs. Pearl Esther, 78, a re-sident of Montgomery, AL., died Thursday, October 17, 2002. Funeral services are scheduled for Thur-sday, October 24, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, Old Sel-ma Road, with Rev. James A. Nuckles, officiating. Burial will follow in Eastwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memories: seven children: Ruby C. (Carl) Bean, Creed (Dannie) Carter, Jr., Nancy Carter, Jerry (Sherry) Carter, Betty C. Sims, Nettie C. (Earthy) Hunter, and Larry (Barbara) Carter; Twenty-four grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two sisters: Daisy Foster and Pearlene Rogers; sister-in-law, Louise Ford; brother-in-law, Dave (Lillie Mae) Davis; one daughter-in-law, Sabrina Carter; se-veral nieces and nephews. Special friends: Norman and Lillie Mae Hammond, Jessie B. Luckie, Maryle Christian, Katie Bell, and Thelma Garrison; as well as a host of other relatives and devoted friends will also miss Pearl Esther. The body will lie in state one hour to the fu-neral service.
