CARTER, Pauline Ann (nee Love) Of St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Monday, January 30, 2012, in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Malcolm "Mac" Carter. Dearly loved mother of Stuart and cherished grandmother of Michael, both of Windsor. Dear sister of Doreen Marsh and her husband Eric, and Olive Rees and her late husband John, all of England. Loved by her nieces, nephews, many family members and dear in-laws. Born in Dudley, England, August 25, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Clara (nee Allen) Love. Pauline was a long term employee of Simpson's Management in Windsor, London, and Toronto. She later joined the Sales Associate Team at Wal-Mart, Oakville, where she worked until her early retirement in 2003. During her working years, Pauline made many treasured friendships. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or public service. Memorial donations to the St. Thomas-Elgin General Foundation (re: Respiratory Services) gratefully acknowledged.
