Pauline A. Anderson, 62, of Grassy Point, sadly parted us on November 8th. She was born on January 6, 1943 to Harry and Evelyn (Johnson) Ewald. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Eric, her children, Donna Jean, Eric Jr. (Fuzzer), Carol (Lynne) and daughter-inlaw Donna all of Grassy Point. She was "Gram" to Matthew, Eric and Steven and a sister to Harry (Eileen) Ewald of Stony Point, NY, Shelly (Edward) Burr of Monroe, NY and Kevin Ewald of Rome, NY. She also leaves behind her loyal pets Roxie, Chase, Ozzie and the many birds she fed daily in her yard. Pauline was employed by Haverstraw Transit as a bus driver for many years before retiring. She was an active member of the Stony Point Senior Citizens and the Rockland Audobon Society. She is known for taking collections and sending care packages to our troops in Iraq as well as to M.I.A. (Rockland's Homeless Veterans). She enjoyed traveling in her R.V., listening to the "oldies", watching the New York Mets and her many flowers and plants she nurtured. She loved watching bald eagles landing in the trees of her yard every winter. She was also an awesome cook. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to M.I.A.
