Patrick F. Casey, age 83, died peacefully in his sleep on December 14, 2005. He was born in New York City and was a long time resident of Tarrytown. Patrick was a WWII Veteran, a retired NY City Police Department First Grade Detective-Homicide Squad and a retired Woodlawn Cemetery Guard. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kathleen, her brother Donald O'Hanlon and his two daughters and their husbands Alice Casey and John Ford and Patricia Walsh and Robert Walsh Sr. Known as "Pop", he is also survived by his three grandchildren Robert Walsh Jr. and his wife Katie, Kathleen Walsh, and Sean Ford as well as his great-granddaughter Aileen Casey Walsh, his sister Mary Ellen Geary of Connecticut, and many nieces and nephews. Patrick is predeceased by his parents Julia and Michael, a brother Denis and a sister Eleanor O'Byrne. Well know to many people, Pop will be missed by all. Reposing at COFFEY FUNERAL HOME INC. in Tarrytown on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 AM at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown. His interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla. In lieu of flowers his wife Kathleen is asking for donations to be sent to Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow.
