->Patricia A. SmithEAST FISHKILL - Patricia A. Smith, 78, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 1962 and formerly of upstate New York, died on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Hudson Valley Rehabilitation Center in Highland. Born in Bennington, VT on November 26, 1933, she was the daughter of John and Mary Morrissey Kelly. Patricia was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Hopewell Hose Fire Company #1, and an avid bingo player and animal lover. On November 26, 1962 in Hopewell Junction, she married Donald J. Smith, Jr. who predeceased her on November 16, 2009. She is survived by her children, Felixia Smith, Thomas and David Bowles, and Karleena Blume; her stepchildren, Donald and Larry Smith; her grandchildren, Nancie Plaza Anderson and husband Marc, Tina Shea and Raylenne Knoebel; her great-grandsons, Bryan Anderson and Vincent Anthony Wilcox; and her close friends, Doreen and Bill Green and daughter Lisa, Jane, Stephen and Daniel Anderson, and Maria Castro. Patricia dedicated her life to taking care of her children and her granddaughter, Nancie. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Hudson Valley Rehabilitation Center, 2 West and Carol Chapelle of Hospice for all of their loving care. A Memorial Service for both Patricia and Donald will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 1pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
