Smith, passed away May 21, 2012 at home.Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Milton and Maebell Ross Howard. Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Samantha Caldwell Palmer, Wanda Caldwell Dean, and Henry Edwin Caldwell, Jr.; two step children, Laura Smith Bradshaw, and Matthew Ted Smith; seven grandchildren, Amy Palmer Gregory, Trista Denise Dean, Ariel Keagan Palmer, Kaitlyn Leah Caldwell, Andrew Jacob Caldwell, Andrew Brashaw, and Katie Bradshaw; one great grandson, Anthony Collin Dean; two sisters and four brothers. She was predeceased by one brother, Ed Howard.A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Sat., May 26 at Palmetto Mortuary, 1313A Miller Rd., Greenville, SC 29607. The family will be at the home.
